Welkom op de site van de Gent Symphonic Band!

Gent Symphonic Band is een symfonisch blaasorkest, in 1978 door Luc Van Acker opgericht in de schoot van de Stedelijke Academie voor Muziek, Woord en Dans " Emiel Hullebroeck " te Gent.

Vandaag de dag brengt Gent Symphonic Band zowat wekelijks ongeveer 80 jonge en minder jonge mensen samen om te musiceren. Het orkest staat nog steeds onder de deskundige leiding van Luc Van Acker, docent aan het muziekconservatorium van de Hogeschool Gent. 

Welcome on the site of Ghent Symphonic Band!

Ghent Symphonic Band is a symphonic wind orchestra, set up in 1978 by Luc Van Acker within the framework of the local Ghent Academy for Music, Word and Dance " EMIEL HULLEBROEK ".

Today the Ghent Symphonic Band brings together approximately 80 musicians of all ages, and this on a weekly basis.

The orchestra still stands under the expert control of Luc Van Acker, professor at the Ghent University College, faculty of Music and Drama.
